We had the priviledge of having LP and Jackie Louw with us for Sunday lunch. LP is a young singer who has just cut his first CD. LP and Jackie have been married for 3 years and have such a testimony. In these three years they have had one little girl (Grace), have another little one on the way (don't know if it's a boy or a girl) and they are fostering two children. One is 12 years old (Leah) and the other little one is 2 (Nicky). This young family is truly living by faith and is an example to us all. It was great talking to them about adoption options as well as music and ministry in general. They used to fellowship here at Krugersdorp, but have moved onto a plot about an hour and a half away to start a children's home. We are excited to see what God is going to do with this family.
Living Testimony
Another birthday...
Saturday afternoon we went to Jonathan Baker's surprise birthday party. His wife Claudene did a fine job of arranging this bring and braai! We also had the blessing of hanging out with our Emmanuel Baptist crowd, as Jonathan and Claudene fellowship there...it's great to have such good friends and family all over. Another typical Glen pose...
Is that a smile?
Musical Mandy
The girls were practising for their lessons today, Rachel on the piano, Amanda on the guitar. The music lessons we give them are really low key, so they don't spend a lot of time practising, but at least for now they are enoying playing...I think as they want to pursue it more we will be more strict about practising...for now slowly does it.
Sunday School Social
Saturday was a day with high expectations - Lilliana had organized a Sunday school social at her house - which was supposed to be a swimming party, but due to the poor weather ended up being a movie day. Some kids were crazy enough to swim even though God had poured a huge bucket of ice into the pool the night before with a hail storm...some kids are just not normal...anyway, the more normal kids looked on in their warm jerseys.
Mystery Couple Revealed
(Drum roll......) This is the mystery couple. Jacques and Rachelle. We are so blessed that they are together, and are looking forward to see how God is going to use them for His kingdom. We rejoice when two on-fire Christians get together who have a heart for ministry. We pray that God would always be the centre of their relationship and that they would display an undivided devotion to the Lord.
