Amanda's Visit

A few weeks ago we spent the morning with our dear friend Amanda Abrahamse. She took the following pics and sent them to me today. They were too beautiful to skip putting on the blog, so I thought I would share them with you!

Thank you Amanda - looking forward to our next visit!

Opa & Sylvia's relaxed visit

On Saturday afternoon we were blessed to have my dad and his friend Sylvia over for a short visit. It was the first time that Sylvia met little Eden. She was so keen for her to wake up so that she could spend some time with her. The afternoon was spent with them handing out gifts from their last holiday to Reunion Island; watching a DVD on the island and just chilling outside in the warm sun while Glen and Rachel played swingball, and Amanda took photos...

I know that you get to see a lot of Eden, and that's okay with me! I love to look at her and thank God for the blessing of having her - and so I love to share the blessing with you all...

Our prayer is that she will grow up to love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, because of His great love for her!

Mabula Holiday

A few snippets from our holiday two weeks ago. I have been having problems with my internet connection, and so have battled to get these photos uploaded, but finally they are here, and hopefully I will have more joy with my internet.

Here we have all the kiddies watching 'Boom' - a kids channel on DSTV which we let them watch on holiday as a treat, as none of our families have DSTV or let our kids watch a lot of you can see them glued, as no kid should be glued in the normal flow of things...

Next to them on the floor, little Hannah and Eden becoming friends...notice the holding of hands...Hannah trying so hard to be gentle and loving - she is preparing for her little brother who is due to arrive early November.

The lovely sunset from our patio - just gorgeous!

Early morning coffee outside, with Glen tinkling on his guitar - so peaceful!

A giraffe outside our chalet - what a treat!

This picture was taken during Daddy time with Eden on the bed - what a beautiful little girl - we love you SO much!

The last two nights Leah spent at our place, and so I made them a finger dinner - they felt really spoilt - I hope!

All in all a lovely holiday, lovely place - Thank you Father for this time of rest and for friends to share it with!
