Grace Ministers Conference 2011

What a wonderful way to begin the year! We were priviledged once again to attend this conference for pastors and their wives, which was once again held at Valley Lodge in Magaliesburg. Our speakers this year were Philip Ryken, who is currently the President of Wheaton College in Illinois, USA. He was a real blessing to listen to as he shared three sessions with us on 'What every minister needs'.

Three years ago we were blessed to hear Conrad Mbewe speak at this same conference, and once again it was a joy to hear him speak, this time on the topic of 'Worship'. He gave us a lot to think about, and his messages were used by God to help me get back to the heart of true worship again.

Following are just a few pics of other couples and people who we enjoyed some fellowship with on the conference...

Andrew and Sharon George...

Tim Cantrell...

Leigh and Irene Robinson, on the right, and JC in the middle...

Willem Bronkhost and his lovely wife, who's name escapes me now...

Angus and Sue McKee..

Michael and Natalie Rogers...

Mike Marsland (left) and our third speaker, who was a local - Dr. P.J. (Flip) Buys, who spoke on Demonology and the Sovereignty of God...

and Tyrell and Ainsley Haag.

All in all it was a very uplifting conference, filled once again with good fellowship and good food, both physically and spiritually.

Hey there, I also attend but in week two. Really enjoyed some aspects especially the fellowship. I should have brought a camera :). Blogged it here: http://markpenrith.wordpress.com/2011/01/07/evaluation-and-questions-from-the-grace-ministers-conference/.

Looking at the photo's you've taken the world is so small (or should I say Evangelical South African Christianity is so small).

In Christ,

Mark
