Granny Time

Every Friday as you know the girls have 'Granny time' with one of their grannies. This week was knitting day with Granny Zan. They are knitting Barbie scarves, have a look at how they are doing!

I must say, I am really starting to enjoy blogging, it really is great to let others know what we are up to, even if it is just the normal mundane stuff! Keep on reading!

Almost 8 Years

I have been thinking a lot about my 8 year wedding aniversary coming up in less than a month - 1st September. I really can't believe that it's already been that long that we have been married. In these eight years we have moved 8 times, been in 4 ministries, had 2 children. We have gigged at many restaurants, written many songs, given many music lessons made many new friends, and have had to say good bye to many close friends too :-( It has been a very exciting few years!!! I would really like to celebrate this occassion with something special...could any of you give me any ideas, as I really want to spoil Glen, but don't want to spend a fortune!

Can you believe that this is almost 8 years ago already? Boy, how things change!!!

Our most precious gifts from the Lord!

We had such a good laugh doing these photos - Enjoy!

Haircuts

To follow in my sister Lynn's ways, I decided to take up hair-dressing...I just don't think that I did a very good job. The last time I tried, the girls ended up with boys haircuts. Today, I decided to give the girls a trim and layer it a bit...anyway, here are somepics of the results...

Just some crazy pics for fun - Glen's kids!

Pink Pampered Princesses

A lot has happened in the last few days. One of those things, was getting new beds for the girls. They 'sacrificially' gave up their bunk beds for the trade of getting new 'princess' beds.Being as girly as they are, they were absolutely thrilled when their room was turned (from their point of view) into a room fit for princesses. Here are some pics from before the beds arrived.

Can girls survive without Barbie?

The butterflies on the wall were added on Monday, just giving you an indication of what they spend their pocket money on. They LOVE pretty things!

The angel wings above their beds was my idea, just as a reminder that we have angels watching over us, ministering to us - whatever that actually means...I know it's wonderful!! Those handprints with their names on were made in P.E. during one of their Sunday School classes - I thought it a good idea to show who's bed is who's...well I thought they would like it!
There we go, the end product! Beautiful pink beds, for my papered little princesses!
I think I used the word 'princess' way too often in this post!
